I was 17 years old when I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force;   I needed my parents’ signatures.   People say the military tries to “break” you, but I never experienced a sense of having been broken. I experienced community. The military taught me discipline, led me through sacrifice, and showed me what it means to be a patriot – core character building blocks instilled in me as a teenager that I have proudly nurtured everyday since. 

With roots forever in New England, I was raised in Durham, Connecticut by hardworking parents in a family full of brothers. Growing up, I helped support our family business until I joined the Air Force. In my military tenure I achieved the rank of Senior Airman six months early through the highly competitive ‘Below the Zone’ program, awarded based on exceptional performance, leadership, and community involvement. 

After the Air Force, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and spent the next 15 years working at State Street Bank, learning every facet of information technology, working in the company’s tech and audit areas.  The same drive that fast-tracked my Air Force promotions also carried me up the corporate ranks until I founded my own cybersecurity consulting firm in Braintree, Massachusetts. I have been a small business owner ever since.

I am deeply committed to serving the community. As a founding member of Sustainable Braintree, I helped launch a grassroots organization focused on environmental stewardship, civic engagement, and building a stronger future for the town. In recognition of  leadership and dedication, I was later named Vice President of the organization.

For the past five years, I have also served as a Voting Warden in Braintree, helping ensure local elections run smoothly and fairly while supporting the democratic process at the community level.

After State Street, I founded OCD Tech, a cybersecurity company dedicated to protecting small and medium businesses from the growing threat of cyberattacks. Through OCD Tech, we provide practical, affordable IT security solutions that help businesses safeguard their data, operations, and customer trust. The company has created jobs both locally in Massachusetts and across the country, building a team of professionals committed to strengthening cybersecurity for organizations that often lack the resources of larger corporations.

I believe that protecting small businesses from cyber threats is essential not only for economic stability, but for the security and resilience of communities nationwide.
